What data is collected?

schollmayer.info is hosted on Vercel (in Frankfurt, region fra1). Vercel writes standard HTTP server logs (IP, user agent, requested URL) for security and operational reasons. These logs are deleted after a few days.

Vercel Web Analytics is enabled — this is cookie-free, runs without persistent identifiers and only counts page views and a few aggregate UX metrics.

On top of that there is a small self-built analytics setup, hosted on Supabase EU (AWS eu-central-1). When a page is opened, one record is stored: the path requested (without the query string), the referring page, browser family (chrome, safari, firefox, edge, other), device type (desktop, tablet, mobile), country code, and a flag for whether the request came from a bot. Your IP address is not stored — neither in plain text nor as a checksum. Nothing is written to or read from your device, no persistent identifier is created, and individual visits cannot be linked to each other. The records are kept and read as totals (for example “how many times was this page opened in July”). There is no deletion period for personal data, because no record can be traced to a person — there is nothing that could be deleted to remove someone from the data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

When you fill out the contact form at /en/contact, your name, email and message are sent to me by email. I store your data only as long as it takes to respond.

No third-party trackers

No Google Analytics, no Meta pixels, no marketing cookies. No newsletter signup is offered on this site.
