How I work, and where that comes from.

My best code happens between six and nine in the morning. The house is quiet, nothing is due yet, and Claude is already running — by the time most calendars start, a working version usually exists.

Before this came twenty years of product leadership: StepStone, HRS, SapientNitro, Capgemini. I wrote roadmaps, ran discovery, argued for budgets. Today I build the things I used to hand over — which changes what I can promise a client, and how quickly.

On weekends I am the sporting director at SSV Strümp, our local football club. That is where the club apps and GOLAZO come from: I run into the problem myself before I solve it, and the people who use the result sit in the same clubhouse.
